I'm Invaluable

These are the notes from Pastor Steve’s message from the second week of the “I’m In” series on January 12th, 2020. You can also watch the message here and fill in the notes below as part of your personal growth in Christ this week.

  1. What is it that has made me feel unqualified or not valuable to the local church?  My past? Not having all the right answers? Some Christians seem so perfect? Be honest!

  2. How does it make you feel hearing that you are invaluable to the local church?

  3. Read 1 Corinthians 12: 12-25.  What part of that passage connects with you the most?  Why does Paul state that ever part matters?

  4. 1 Corinthians 12 can mean this.  I am incomplete spiritually when I’m not doing my part.  The church is incomplete without me doing my part.  Why are those statements true but uncomfortable?  

  5. Ask yourself these questions.  What is my part in the body of Christ?  What is holding me back? What is not happening through the local church if I am not doing my part?   What will I do today to do my part?
