Devil Kicking

11 Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes.  12 For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.  Ephesians 6:11-12

Stay alert! Watch out for your great enemy, the devil. He prowls around like a roaring lion, looking for someone to devour.  1 Peter 5:8 (NLT)

How does the devil destroy relationships?

Catch all the foxes, those little foxes, before they ruin the vineyard of love, for the grapevines are blossoming!  Song of Songs 2:15

Distractions in marriage

Take some time to ask these questions.  

  • What distractions exist in your marriage right now?  

  • What distractions exist in your life right now?  

  • What will you do to eliminate the distraction?

But among you there must not be even a hint of sexual immorality, or of any kind of impurity, or of greed, because these are improper for God’s holy people.  Ephesians 5:3  

Do not set foot on the path of the wicked or walk in the way of evildoers.  15 Avoid it, do not travel on it; turn from it and go on your way. Proverbs 4:14-15

So, if you think you are standing firm, be careful that you don’t fall! 13 No temptation has overtaken you except what is common to mankind. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can endure it.  1 Corinthians 10:12-13

  • If you're not married: Where am I most vulnerable to spiritual attacks?
